With nearly 99 degrees, it is known as the largest Masonic order. The first 33 degrees of this Rite is similar to that of Scottish Rite.

The Memphis Misraim Rite does not conform to the degree of standard freemasonry. It is a regularly constituted appendant body in Italy under the Grand Orient of Italy. This Rite has thousands of members today, mostly from Europe.
